MASAR EXPERIENCE CENTER & HEADQUARTERS - MAKKAH, K.S.A

Led the design of a landmark Experience Centre and Headquarters of a real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, from concept design to the preparation of Tender documents.

The project is part of the mega development of KING ABDULAZIZ ROAD lately renamed (MASAR) in Makkah, KSA.
The project required close coordination with consultants from different and unique disciplines working on the master plan development and the ongoing infrastructure construction on site.
Status of the Project: Under Construction.
Team size: 3 Architects, 7 Sub-consultants (Structure, Civil, MEP, ID, Landscape, Traffic Impact, FLS, QS)
Role in the Project:

Prepared project management and control plans and procedures.

Prepared sub-consultancy RFPs (Request for Proposal).

Negotiated and awarded contracts for the sub-consultancy services.

Led the project’s communication with the PMO, the client and the design team.

Led the design coordination between the different disciplines design teams and the client’s team.

Managed the authorities approval processes.

Led the architectural and landscape concept designs.

Held weekly meetings with the client and presented the project design to the client and the authorities.

Directed the preparation of the Tender packages.

Emirates NBD Bank Head Quarter Parking Building

Prepared the concept design of a multi-story parking for a bank headquarters in Meydan Business park, Dubai, UAE.

Langham Luxury 5star Hotel - Jeddah, K.S.A

Led a design team of 3 architects on the preparing the Concept design to detailed design of a 287 Key, 5 star Luxury hotel with a large Business and convention centre of 89,000 sqm built-up area, operated by Langham Hotels & Resorts.
The design team consisted of a large number of sub-consultants and specialists; acting as the lead consultant we had to lead a tremendous coordination effort to synchronize the different design aspects and specialists input.

Worked with a design team of 21 architects on the preparing the final design submission for this mega project from our office in Germany, the Katara Hotel in Lusail Marina Doha, Qatar is set to be the Landmark of Doha opening for the 2022 world cup.
