Led the design of a landmark Experience Centre and Headquarters of a real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, from concept design to the preparation of Tender documents.

The project is part of the mega development of KING ABDULAZIZ ROAD lately renamed (MASAR) in Makkah, KSA.

The project required close coordination with consultants from different and unique disciplines working on the master plan development and the ongoing infrastructure construction on site.

Status of the Project: Under Construction.

Team size: 3 Architects, 7 Sub-consultants (Structure, Civil, MEP, ID, Lighting, Landscape, AoR, FLS, QS)

Role in the Project:

• Prepared project management and control plans and procedures.

• Prepared sub-consultancy RFPs (Request for Proposal).

• Negotiated and awarded contracts for the sub-consultancy services.

• Led the project’s communication with the PMO, the client and the  design team.

• Led the design coordination between the different disciplines design teams and the client’s team.

• Managed the authorities approval processes.

• Led the architectural and landscape concept designs.

• Held weekly meetings with the client and presented the project design to the client and the authorities.

• Directed the preparation of the Tender packages.

• Managed the project construction cost and overlooked the preparation of the cost estimates and BoQs.

• Managed closely the lead consultants (Architecture, Structure, Cost) resources including team deployment and design budget.
